Solutions Tailored To YOU!
Your health is your primary concern. You’re tired of feeling terrible and want answers yet other medical practitioners barely take time to explain your condition much less really get to know you and your desires. How are you supposed to make lasting change when you aren’t given meaningful information?
Before I work with anyone I make sure we’re a good fit for each other. That’s why I invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation. People are excited about the opportunity to actually get to know their health practitioner and investigate their goals and concerns without any obligation. We’re just having a friendly conversation. You can tell me what you’re looking for and where you’re struggling. I’ll share how I may be able to help. If it feels like a good fit for you we can talk about next steps.
During our call you’ll have the opportunity to discuss your health concerns and goals as well as how you would like to see your Future Self. While I can’t offer specific solutions in this brief time (it wouldn’t be ethical since I won’t have your full health story yet), I can offer insights, identify potential areas that need to be addressed and suggest possible directions we might consider while working together.
Your consultation is about 20 minutes long and is simply a conversation, not a commitment or obligation. If we decide to move forward together I’ll suggest a package that is a good fit for your situation as well as payment options and reserve your first appointment.
Consultations are available by phone or secure video chat. If you choose video chat (and I enjoy when people do. I enjoy seeing your smiling face!) please make sure you’re in a location that has good internet connectivity.
I look forward to meeting you!
Our Journey Together
Our journey together begins with a 90-minute new client intake meeting. During this session we’ll review the intake questionnaire and food journal I send you as well as your health history and concerns, your goals, and identify any obstacles to your success. After our time together I’ll develop a personalized action plan based on your goals, lifestyle and budget.
Your plan may include:
- recommendations for supplements
- foods to include in your diet as well as foods that may need to be set aside for a time
- lifestyle adjustments that support health
- any lab tests that could be helpful in identifying the underlying cause of your health concerns.
(remember that I don’t diagnose or treat any disease, I interpret labs from a nutrition/imbalance perspective not a disease perspective. If any labs suggest a possible medical condition you will be referred to your licensed medical practitioner for followup. Labs are optional and are billed at wholesale cost.)
Stay On Track
Most health concerns don’t develop overnight. They take time, sometimes years, to develop and they can take time to fully resolve (although most clients begin seeing improvement within 2-3 weeks if not sooner). Your coaching package includes regular coaching sessions every 2-3 weeks to keep you motivated and moving toward your goals.
Healthy habits take time to develop and regular accountability ensures the greatest results. Sessions can be in person, by phone or by HIPPA compliant video conferencing.
Your coaching package includes HIPPA compliant instant message support for quick questions or clarification. Check-in calls of 15-20 minutes are also available for questions requiring more than a quick email.
Labs For Functional Health Testing
I use detailed questionnaires to uncover possible causes of your symptoms. Many of those chronic symptoms can be resolved through simple food and lifestyle changes. However sometimes we need to dig deeper to uncover the root cause of your issues. In this case, optional lab testing is available.
Labs help remove the guesswork and streamline your healing, ultimately saving both time and money. As the old saying goes, “Test don’t guess!” In order to make this testing accessible to more people, I don’t mark up the prices; you pay my cost.
The purpose of these tests are to uncover imbalances in the body that may be contributing to your symptoms. I don’t diagnose or treat disease (that’s what your medical doctor is for) so all interpretations are from a nutrition and lifestyle perspective. If anything indicates a medical condition you will be referred to your medical doctor for followup.
I offer several functional lab tests including:
- food sensitivity
- micro nutrient status
- gut health (GI Map and VIOME)
- hormone (the DUTCH)
These tests are not intended to diagnose or treat disease. They help us understand your nutritional status. Your doctor can provide a medical interpretation of the results.

Private MELT sessions are also available in my home. You can schedule a private session here.
Reclaiming your health is about more than food. Yes, nutrition is the foundation of health but I look at the whole person. Splankna addresses the emotional and spiritual baggage that can hold you back. Sessions are available individually and make an excellent addition to your action plan.
I offer various classes several times a year. Classes can be adapted for corporate wellness programs, Sunday School classes or other groups. To be notified of upcoming group classes, sign up for my newsletter and like my Facebook page. To inquire about classes for your organization or group please contact me.
So many labels with so much confusing, often conflicting, information. Claims like “Low Fat,” “All Natural,” “Lowers Cholesterol” are everywhere. How do you know which product to buy? I’ll help take the guesswork out of reading labels. Schedule a tour with up to 5 friends
For generations we’ve been trained by the healthcare system to expect health insurance to cover all of our health-related expenses (which, conveniently, steers us toward expensive Western medicine providers).
Curiously, we don’t expect our car insurance to pay for oil changes or tire rotations nor do we expect our homeowners insurance to pay for our lawn to be mowed or the carpets cleaned. These are maintenance expenses.
Why then should we expect our health insurance to cover health maintenance?

My point is that we’re each responsible for our own health. So we invest in our future in order to help ensure a pain-free life filled with the boundless energy.
This rather powerful video says it well:
I understand that people living with chronic conditions often are unable to seek the higher-paying jobs therefore are on tight budgets. Been there. Done that. So I do my best to maintain balance between keeping my services affordable and still paying my own bills.
I accept checks, credit and debit cards and am happy to arrange payment plans if necessary. I don’t want money to be the only thing standing in the way of you reclaiming your health!
Flex plans and health savings accounts (HSA’s) sometimes cover nutrition services and supplements. Check with your provider. Sorry, but I am unable to accept health insurance.
